GeniusResume.ai provides an AI-powered resume and cover letter builder that helps users create professional, ATS-optimized job application documents. Our services include:

  • Subscription-based premium features

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials and accept all risks of unauthorized access
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Age Requirement

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

4.1 Free Plan

4.2 Pro Plans

Pro subscriptions (monthly or yearly) provide unlimited access to all features, premium templates, and ad-free experience. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis.

4.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fees. You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information.

4.4 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the initial purchase.

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days notice. Price changes will not affect existing subscriptions until their next renewal.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Create false, misleading, or fraudulent resumes or cover letters
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your qualifications
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful materials
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Content

The Service, including all software, templates, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other content ("Our Content"), is owned by GeniusResume.ai and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of Our Content without written permission.

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service (your resume and cover letter content). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your content solely to provide the Service.

6.3 AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI is provided to you for your use. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content for accuracy before use. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be error-free or suitable for your specific needs.

7. Disclaimers and Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Resumes created will result in job interviews or employment
  • AI-generated content will be accurate or complete
  • Your documents will pass all ATS systems
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before sending to employers.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GENIUSRESUME.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GeniusResume.ai and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
